How It Works

Making a beautiful cup of herbal tea doesn’t need fancy gear or a lot of time. Our loose leaf blends are made to be simple to prepare, so you can slow down and enjoy a moment for yourself. Here’s how to brew loose leaf tea the Body Bites way, plus a quick look at how ordering and delivery work.

Four steps to brew Body Bites loose leaf tea: infuser, 100°C water, steep 3–5 minutes, pour and enjoy

Step 1: Add your tea to an infuser

Spoon your chosen Body Bites loose leaf tea into your favourite infuser, whether that’s a teapot with a basket, a strainer or a reusable tea ball. About one heaped teaspoon per cup is a good place to start, and you can adjust to suit your taste. Then fill with freshly boiled water, around 100°C.

Step 2: Let it infuse for three to five minutes

Give the leaves three to five minutes to steep. A shorter brew gives a lighter cup, while a longer one brings out a fuller flavour. Herbal blends are forgiving, so experiment until you find the strength you love.

Step 3: Pour and add a finishing touch

Pour your tea into your favourite cup. If you like, add a drizzle of honey or a slice of lemon. Both pair nicely with many of our blends and make each cup your own.

Step 4: Sit back and enjoy

That’s it. Find a comfy spot, take a breath and enjoy your Body Bites tea, hot on a cool morning or poured over ice on a warm afternoon.
