Ingredients: goji berries, wild yam root, horny goat weed, tribulus seed, ashwagandha root, roseroot, pygeum bark, passionflower, clove buds, ginkgo leaf, muira puama, Siberian ginseng, damiana, stevia, gotu kola, Panax ginseng.
Energy Tea: About the ingredients
- Panax ginseng has been studied for everyday tiredness, with promising but weak results (Arring 2018), and gotu kola for alertness (Puttarak 2017, limited evidence).
- Roseroot has been studied for fatigue with mixed results (Ishaque 2012). Siberian ginseng is traditionally used in Russian practice as a tonic, though studies haven’t shown a fatigue benefit (Hartz 2004).
- Research on ashwagandha root extract suggests it may help with feelings of everyday stress (Akhgarjand 2022, low-certainty evidence).
- In a small study, passionflower tea improved self-rated sleep quality in healthy adults (Ngan 2011).
- Horny goat weed, damiana and muira puama are traditionally associated with vitality and desire in Chinese, Central American and Brazilian herbal practice. Research on tribulus is mixed (Martimbianco 2020).
- Clove buds are a traditional warming digestive spice. Goji is traditionally used in Chinese food culture. Stevia sweetens naturally.
Safety
