In a small study, passionflower tea improved self-rated sleep quality over a week in healthy adults (Ngan 2011). Traditionally used as a calming herb. Not a treatment for heart, menopausal or attention conditions. Historically also applied to the skin in folk practice.
We recommend that you consult with a qualified healthcare practitioner before using herbal products, particularly if you are pregnant, nursing, or on any medications.
Herbal teas are food products for everyday enjoyment. They don’t diagnose, treat or cure any condition. Research referenced is general research on the herb, often using extracts, not on this tea. Check with a healthcare practitioner if you’re pregnant, breastfeeding, on medication or have a health condition.
